The final release of UAVSimulator 1.0 is made available for download

The UAVSimulator 1.0 is currently a Windows only version, but the source code is included, and the software is published under GNU public license. Plans are made to port to Linux and OSX in the near future.

AdvancedUAVSimulator GM candidate available

We have completed the first test phase of the AdvancedUAVSimulator

Flight Data Recorder Available

After some delay, UAV Control launched the Beta version of the flight data recorder for X-Plane. Work continue on both developing cross-platform compatibility and improved performance.

The Beta 0.1 version is currently a Mac OSX only version, but the source code is included, and the software is published under GNU public license. If you find time to improve the software, please contact UAV Control, at contact@uavcontrol.org.

Beta-testing started on Advanced UAV Simulator

Beta-testing started on an Advanced UAV Simulator developed by UAV Control. The software interfaces with x-plane flight simulator by Laminar Research, and enables testing of control systems, state estimation, signal processing and hardware in the loop testing.

UAV control have developed a “Flight data recorder” for x-plane, with MATLAB/Simulink friendly formatting. The plugin records state variables in 6DOF, and store them in a vector. Software and documentation will be available at www.uavcontrol.org on Monday, June 27 2011.
